Coconut Bird Feeder recipe
Cut a coconut shell in half with a hacksaw and pry out meat with a blunt knife.
In each cup, drill a hole 1/2 inch in from rim, put a thick knot in end of a strong hanging cord and pass cord through hole from inside. Fill each cup with the following:
4 cups grated coconut meat
2 cups warmed peanut butter, vegetable shortening,
lard or rendered suet
Chill. Pack into the two coconut cups.
