Feathered Friends Fruit Bread

Makes 3 bags.

Save mesh bags, such as what potatoes and onions are packed in. You may use other dried fruit than raisins.

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups rolled oats
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup raisins
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
6 tablespoons oil

Stir together flour, oats and baking powder. Add fruit. Beat eggs. Add milk, then oil. Stir into dry ingredients. Pour into 2 (8- or 9-inch) greased square pans. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Let cool, then crumble and fill mesh bags. Hang outside for birds.

NOTE: Squirrels love it as well.
