Fudge Brownie in a Mug

3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans

In a small bowl, combine above ingredients. Mix well and place in zip-top bag and seal. Place sealed bag in a mug. Make sure the mug holds a volume of at least 1 1/2 cups. Decorate and attach gift tag with the following directions.

Fudge Brownie:

2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
Fudge Brownie Mix
1 small egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine unsweetened chocolate and butter. Heat until mixture is melted and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add fudge brownie mix from bag, egg and vanilla extract to melted mixture and stir well. pour mixture into lightly greased mug and bake for 20 minutes.
