Candy Recipes - Fudge, Penuche and Divinity
Toll House Fudge
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Bring butter, sugar, evaporated milk and salt to a boil in medium-size,
heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes,
stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, walnuts and vanilla extract.
Stir vigorously until marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil-lined 8-inch
square pan. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
NOTE: You may substitute butterscotch chips for chocolate chips.
