Individual Candied Fruitcake Morsels

1 pound shelled pecans
1 pound pitted dates
3/4 pound candied cherries (red and green)
1 pound candied pineapple
3/4 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 eggs
Chopped candied orange peel, optional

Combine nuts and fruits in large bowl. Sift in flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix well, using hands. Beat eggs until foamy, add to first mixture and blend well. Pack into small paper baking cups, filling them full. Bake in slow oven (300 degrees) about 40 minutes.
