Peppermint Cherry Wafers
16 ounces vanilla commercial candy melt
1/4 cup Kirsch
2/3 cup finely ground peppermint candy stick
8 ounces vanilla commercial candy melt
In medium bowl, melt 16 ounces candy. Mix in Kirsch, a few drops of red
food coloring and the crushed peppermint. Drop onto wax paper by scant teaspoons.
Candies will flatten into wafers. Freeze until set.
Melt 8 ounces of the candy in a shallow bowl. Dip the bottoms of the
wafers into the chocolate and let dry on wax paper. When all bottoms are
coated, reheat the leftover candy melt and drizzle over the tops.
Sprinkle with extra crushed candy cane if desired.
